Miguel Ángel Romero (born May 2, 1975 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine footballer, who currently plays for Chilean club Curicó Unido. Even though he was born in Argentina he has never played in Argentina's First Division. He began with Argentino de Rosario of the third division and then moved Club Atlético Tigre of the second division. He left Argentina in 1999 for Chile and has not returned since. He has played for several teams in Chile, which include Cobreloa, Everton, Unión San Felipe, Colo-Colo, and Coquimbo Unido. In 2006 he moved to Audax Italiano where he was a vital piece of the team which has played in both the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana. In 2011 he left Coquimbo Unido to become a part of the Curicó Unido squad
